Introduction from Tommy
DMK Cosmetics Foundation - Tommy Parsons
Tommy spent considerable time convincing Danné that his ideas for remedial make up could be recommended by doctors and therapists was badly needed by the industry, but when he introduced Danné to Brad Look, Emmy award winning Hollywood make up guru and he discovered the many problems facing studio makeup artists working on actors who were facing new camera's that showed every pore on the skin and also made even the best applied professional brands of makeup LOOK like makeup, Danné decided to take the challenge and Tommy Parsons was made head of a new division, DMK Cosmetics - The Foundation of Skin.
Together with one of the most brilliant make up chemists in the industry-and trial and error advice from Brad Look and other international makeup artists -all now on what they call "The Pro Panel of experts," the first high definition make up was born. Whereas there are several make ups out now that claim "High Definition" the DMK Foundations address the idea directly-from the camera's eye.
Imagine a makeup with no oil, which applied on the skin with up to 53% pigmentation, covers everything, last all day long without getting greasy or shiny, does not come off on clothes and looks like natural skin in the broadest sunlight. Many top male stars refuse to wear classic professional make up because under the High Definition camera eye it looks like makeup hardly an image for action stars and movie idols like George Clooney or Bruce Willis!
What is even more remarkable is the colour blending range and techniques, covering every ethnic skin type and blending in like they have no makeup on at all. African American women, Asians and Hispanics have long had problems with matching their exact skin tone with makeup-few foundations address all the subtle undertones that people possess and the result of most make up is either too red, too blue or too ashy.
Danne’s proudest personal offering to this range is his Crème Glaze- a very unusual primer that not only masques wrinkles by bouncing light off them due to its microscopic filaments, but forms an occlusive shield over the entire face and neck and the makeup then goes on like butter-appearing smooth and tight and fresh for 12 or more hours!
None of this is felt by the wearer as heavy, and in fact feels like there is nothing on the skin at all-and it does not interfere with any DMK skin revision treatment, surgery or medical procedure - on the contrary, surgeons are already finding that it covers bruising and scarring completely post-surgery.
Danné insisted that the new incredible, all natural preservative BIOCENCETN be used in the formulation. The inventor, Allan Lord, formulated BIOCENCE for the medical field and for hospitals. Allan knew nothing about the cosmetic industry, but Danné was so impressed with the track record of BIOCENCE ....during independent lab testing that he decided to introduce it to the spa industry AND the cosmetic field.
"I think that eventually everyone will use BIOCENCE exclaims Danné,” Already DMK Cosmetics - the Foundation of Skin - is creating a buzz both here and abroad,
