Neutralizers can remove unwanted undertones in the skin and add undertones to colour by mixing with DMK colours.

DMK Correctors

DMK correctors offer a range of ten specially formulated colours that act as correctors and neutralizers. They can be used with DMK foundations, or any other foundation or cosmetic product. DMK Correction Colours are the first to use professional concept colour correction and to apply it to higher quality cosmetics. Rather than simply ‘cover up’ skin discolorations – the typical approach of ‘over-the-counter’ products – our correction colours work to neutralize all types of blemishes by manipulating how light reflects off the surface of the skin. Clients need less makeup for perfect results!

DMK Red Correctors…reduce redness

Red correctors reduce skin redness and change the tone value of a foundation.

  • Red Corrector 1 – “Muted Green” eliminates unwanted skin tones and excessive redness due to acne, sunburn and other red-based dermatological skin.
  • Red Corrector 2 – “Subtle Yellow” is used for darker skin tones which need excessive redness removed or reduced.

DMK Blue Correctors...disguise capillaries

These correctors control the amount of blue reflecting off the skin. This blue comes mostly from capillaries close to the surface. Blue Neutralizers control all blue from the skin including Tattoos, Bruises, blue undertones and dark circles under the eyes.

  • Blue Corrector 1 – warmer orange based colours to reduce excessive blueness.
  • Blue Corrector 2 – darker orange based colours to reduce excessive blueness (excellent for men)

DMK HiLites and LoLites

DMK HiLites…emphasize your best features

HiLite Correctors are used to emphasize bone structure. They can be mixed with other colours to lighten or darken. DMK Cosmetics provide four essential highlighting colours that can be used to achieve definition on the face. DMK Highlights also provide subtle colour correction based on their specifically formulated colour ranges

  • Yellow HiLite – For fair and light European tones, Yellow HiLite is used with olive, Asian and skin tones requiring accenting with yellow based colours.
  • Special Dark HiLite – highlights and accents medium dark to deep skin tones with a natural subtle brown colour.

  • Orange HiLite – Is the all-purpose HiLite used for all Caucasian, and European skin tones. Its warm base will actually highlight and reduce subtle blueness on the skin.
  • Pink HiLite – For light to medium skin tones, Pink HiLite is a warm highlight used for warmer based foundation colours.

DMK LoLites…sculpt the face

LoLites are used to sculpt the face. They de-emphasize unwanted planes by reducing the reflection of light.

  • Natural LoLite 1 “Lite Café” – this beautiful, subtle shade of brown is excellent for contouring areas of the face that need less emphasis. Recommended for fair to medium light skin tones.
  • Natural LoLite 2 “Espresso” – used exactly like Natural LoLite 1, this dark neutral brown is for medium to dark skin tones.
